On the left side of the front hall was the “Walnut Room”. This room featured a large bookcase that held the books that Dr. Wolf acquired as a student. The clock on the bookcase came from Germany. Much of the furniture from the estate of Lancaster native, Jacob Kreider. I portrait of Mr. Kreider hung on the wall. Dr. Wolf made the prayer rugs between 1942 and 1944. The oil lamp and pewter coffeepot belonged to Mrs. Wolf’s grandmother.
