The reception room is where students would wait until it was their turn for a lesson. A bust of Franz Liszt sat on the mantel. Above the mantel hung an oil painting of Darby Creek by Philadelphia artist, Elizabeth Washington. The small side chairs belonged to Mrs. Wolf’s grandmother Fairlamb.
